For our movie we have a narrative/abstract idea.
A figure emerges from the subway into the light
He is bombarded by language he can not understand (Chinatown shoot)
Close up of figures talking in a language he can not grasp
Image of confusion
all this is shot in hight contrast black and white
Cut to fast paced montage of sign fragments that cohere in words
This is a color montage with a jazzy sound track
The film ends back in black and white where the figure merges with a silhouette that is part of an ad. The idea being that he merges with this other world.
